iFilm English to air ‘Tabriz in Fog’

iFilm English TV channel is set to broadcast the series ‘Tabriz in Fog’ starting from Friday.

‘Tabriz in Fog’ will be aired every day at 23:00 GMT, except Saturdays. Each episode will be replayed the next day at 05:00, 11:00, and 17:00 GMT.

‘Tabriz in Fog’, directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, is a historical series.

“It's the 19th century, and European imperial powers are immersed in colonial wars of aggression, with Iran caught in the middle. The French and English each plot and manipulate to gain control over the king of Iran, while the Russian army mounts an attack against the country,” a synopsis for the series reads, adding “As the King stumbles along, he seems more interested in the pleasures of life in the palace than the welfare of the country. But in the province of Tabriz, the Crown Prince fights valiantly to keep the Russian invaders at bay.”

The cast members of the series include Elham Hamidi, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Jamshid Mashayekhi, and Hessam Navvab-Safavi.

‘Tabriz in Fog’ will replace the series ‘Avicenna’.
